· Level 1 is an introductory class that starts the student at the very basics of Arabic. Level 1 contains 23 lessons (approx. 2.5 hours each). This semester focuses on Nahw (Syntax) nouns, pronouns, vocabulary (singular & plural), reading and writing, basic conversation skills, asking and answering questions, translation of Quran and texts, speech articulation and enunciation, using a dictionary, and grammar rules. The goal is to read, speak, and write the Quran and Arabic texts.
Prerequisites: 1) Minimum Age: 14yrs old
2) The ability to read the Quran or vowelled Arabic at a basic level.
· Level 2 is an introductory class that builds on the concepts of the previous semester. Level 2 contains 40 lessons (approx. 2.5 hours each). This semester builds upon the same concepts as the last semester while also teaching: Sarf (Morphology), the introduction of verbs, types of sentences, verb conjugation, numbers, grammatical analysis of Quran and texts, introduction to reading texts without Arabic vowel marks (Tashkeel).Prerequisites: 1) Completion of Level 1 or an equivalent course with another institute or teacher.
*The completion of book 1 of Arabia Bayna Yadayk is not sufficient to skip Level 1
